The Birds 'N' Boys
The Birds 'N' Boys plays danceable, energy-driven rock, country and blues from the 80's to the 00's throughout the New England area. Exceptional musicianship, excellent vocals, and the best in "chick" rock have earned them a reputation that sets them apart. Ellen Sackman (rhythm guitar, vocals), who has performed in a wedding band, TIN ROOF (rock), the BLACK MOON BAND (country) and as a solo acoustic artist, knows how to sing pretty and how to belt in the best angry-girl tradition. Tommy Wilson (bass, vocals), who has played with TIN ROOF, original band BIG DEAL, and has drummed for BUTCH TAYLOR and the PENETRATORS, brings his pounding bass and versatile vocal skills to the band. Mike Finer (lead guitar, vocals), who has played with the best in the business including Michael Bolton, CANYON and the BLACK MOON BAND, brings incredible lead work to the sound. Mikey Posser (drums), who has played with countless musicians from the WPLR Breakfast Band to tribute bands SIBERIAN KHATRU and ODDS AND SODS, keeps the band's music precise and energetic. The Bird 'N' Boys has an endless repertoire to draw from and prides itself on being able to play just about any request!
